I have been to this church many times. Each time I attended services there I felt the presence of God in the theology, thru the pastors who preach God's word, and the love and fellowship of the people who attend this church. If I lived closer, I would make Tabernacle my home church.
Please stop enabling people to be dependent on free meals and abusing the neighborhoods that they travel through to get these free meals. We have continuous trespassers and destructive people through our property on the way to and from the continuous free meals. Your graciousness is promoting and encouraging people to feel as though they can do as they wish. IT IS NOT GOOD, RESPECTFUL OR BETTER YET LEGAL, TO ENTER SOMEONES PROPERTY UNINVITED. Please tell your recipients that this is not acceptable !! EVER!! STAY ON THE SIDEWALKS AND STREETS, not on my porch, in my swing, uninvited. The police will be called and charges of trespassing g will be pressed.
These people called the police on my friends and I for playing pokemon go in front of there church. Then they just stood their and watched but nothing could be done because we were on public property. I thought churches were suppose to be welcoming... they should of just talked to us instead of calling the police. Would not recomend this church to anyone.
This church had an amazing opportunity to witness and spread God's word to a group of people who were playing Pokemon go in their parking lot. Instead of welcoming them and speaking to the 15-20 individuals who may have needed to hear the gospel, they instead decided to call the police. When the police told them they were just playing a game and not being disruptive or vandalizing the property, they decided to have them removed. Now if they feel it's inappropriate to have a pokemon gym at their church they can contact the game and they will remove it. The situation was handled very poorly and didn't display a willingness to accept or minister to these young adults.
