I've been searching for a dentist in the New Bern area and found this one who takes my dental insurance. This was my first visit to this office. I had a crown come loose and fall off from a previously dentists office. My first impression was outstanding from the look of the office to the friendly reception that I got from the office staff and the Dentist. She explained everything to me as she was taking care of my tooth problem. I really was excited to tell my wife about my experience and that she's gonna love going here. I do agree that when I made another appointment for a cleaning it seems so far away. I hope someday they can have shorter schedule times for the cleanings.

Followup.... I had the work done well for less than half of what Dr Gibbs wanted to charge. Could be different teeth but, but I also had a better experience regarding pain and it took less time. But in Dr Gibbs defence, he probably has a very big house and elaborate lifestyle to pay for with his patients money
I will say that Dr. Meridith Gibbs was very pleasant and professional when I saw her for a cleaning and two following appointments for fillings. However, that isn’t enough to make me loyal to a practice that doesn’t offer any flexibility to their patients who have work or childcare issues - especially when advance notice is given. Because of your archaic schedule and obviously short-sighted staff, you have lost my business.
Nice offices with a great view from the exam rooms. But it becomes apparent who is paying for the offices.
This is the most amazing dentist office I've ever been to. I'll start by saying it's extremely clean and always smells nice. I have very high dentist anxiety and they are SO kind and patient. They're also very gentle. They explain everything and they're always happy! Their billing office is also very easy to work with.
Unless you can keep your exact appointment every six months, look elsewhere for a dentist. At my cleaning in August 2016, I was scheduled for an appointment the following February. When I called to reschedule my cleaning in February (with four days advance notice), I was told the next available appointment wasn’t until August 2017. I am not willing to sacrifice my dental health because this business has overbooked its schedule.
When I asked about the prices I was told by Mr Gibbs that he doesn't have to justify his prices. Must be nice to take people's money without justification.
