I pre-ordered my parts, attempting lessen the time without my mower. The repair time is usually two weeks. I was told 5 days since I had the parts.
I saved no time. When I called about the status of my repair after a week. staff seemed uninterested in my question. Told me another week.
BTW. Opening up their hours to 5:30 and on weekends was a major plus for me!
Great place!! Owner is very nice and works hard to keep prices down and get the supplies you need! Better than tractor supply!
The own seems to be a bit brash at times, but he genuinely is a helpful person. If I had to deal with people trying to return plants they killed all the time, I'd probably be brash too.
I picked up my mower with no repairs being done.
They provide a good assortment of prestarted plants for the garden in the spring, carry baby chicks and will place orders for you upon request. They will also spend the time to explain things to you.
I was left with the impression that the manager thinks the employee was wrong for telling me that it would take 5 days. But from my perspective the owners and managers are at fault for complete lack of oversight. Failing to set up effective procedures, and not giving the employees the authority to do their job.

I was flabbergasted when the person who said he was the manager told me that he would not charge me...
NOT CHARGE. They did NOTHING.
Edit to add. The steering that I complained about, and was told did not need repair ... Failed completely after a couple hours of operation following my visit here.
This department obviously lacks any coordination or scheduling ability. The staff who answer to the customer lack the authority to do their jobs properly.
I have been shopping at this place for a number of years as they carry a fantastic bank of seeds for the garden as well as all of the lawn and garden care stuff you might need. They are generally helpful at the counters and always ask if they can help you find something.
Very pleasant staff. Superior customer service. I find prices to be fair. I highly recommend visiting the store. Landscaping work is also excellent and I highly recommend them.
They are a hard working locally owned establishment that I prefer to visit over the box stores. I hope to see them in business for years to come.

He did apologize, but he blamed the counter man.
When I called another week later I was told the tag fell off my mower. I was told a couple more days. When I called a couple days later I was told by the counter that he could not tell the repair staff what to do. I begged him to ask them to make me next. They said i could pick up the next day.
