Great job of wallpaper removal and painting of a large bathroom. Will use them again
We hired Fresh Coat of New Bern to paint the exterior of our windows and the iron work on the porch and carport. Mr. Yaeger, the owner gave us a written estimate of the job beforehand and completed the job as quoted. We are quite pleased with the work performed and pleased that Mr. Yaeger kept to his word on the estimate which is refreshing these days. We highly recommend him and his crew and will use them again.
Fresh Coat painters did a great job removing our popcorn ceilings and stripping and painting our bathroom. With tough to remove wallpaper and lots of sanding, they were quick, accurate, and consistent. We felt safe with each of the painters in our home and saw Jim (the owner) each day when he came to check up on the work and help out. His wonderful wife was even working hard taking down wallpaper one day! They squeezed us in before we had a big event in our home and the price was exactly as quoted. We are happy with the result and would hire them again in a second. Highly recommend!
We recently hired the team from Fresh Coat Painters of New Bern to paint two bedrooms. The estimate was for two coats on the trim and the walls. The coverage was thin, contained runs and defiantly not two coats. There was little to no prep work performed; sanding/mudding ect. This job initially took 1.5 days. They had an opportunity to correct the discrepancies on the third day. Needless to say, there were still numerous flaws which included runs, flashing, lint in the paint and insufficient coverage in areas. Mr. Yaegar agreed that the work was not of the quality that they are expected to produce. Due to both of our time constraints, I had to hire someone else to completely redo the job. Additionally, I had to take extra time off of work to ensure things were in order. I feel that the lack of initial prep work and rushing severely degraded the end result.
On a positive note, the members of the team were ALWAYS on time and very professional.
