It is unfortunate that people can write flat-out lies on the internet about a wonderful company. The guy that wrote the "Horrible Customer Service" is a deadbeat that had to be threatened with eviction on a regular basis just to get him to pay his rent. So, I guess he is mad at the company because he is irresponsible. What can you expect from someone like that? Ask anyone else that knows this company and you will get nothing but positive comments.
If you rent from them, you can't expect to have anything that needs repaired done until the last minute. And once they know you are trying to reach them for something, forget talking to a real person and get used to leaving voicemails. And talk about inpersonable, when we met the owner he said no more than 5 words and that was him doing our inspection! talk about awkward. I will never rent from them again, and highly suggest others to talk to other companies and see what better service there is.
This business is horrible and very unprofessional. They took $40.00 for a credit report, cash the check immediately and took a month to run the credit. After two weeks, I asked them to rescind my application and return my $40.00. They stole my money and two weeks later denied my application and stated "My credit score is not high enough. The owners are looking for a high credit score!" (Yes, I still have the email stating that!) At the beginning of the process the rental amount was $750.00 which we submitted and application for. During the process the rent went of $50.00. My suggestion is if you want to be treated with respect and fairly, STAY AWAY from these con artist. Also, if you are in a hurry to get a rental, do not use Rivertowne Rentals. I don't recommend these people to anyone. BY the way, that house is still for rent 4 months later.
