Great place for the money. Very disappointed that the water fill station was down. Had to fill from the bath house and blocked traffic..not Good! Would be 5 stars if not for that. It is a simple park..but cozy lots and near the river...can't beat it!
Most favorite place to Camp there is space in between the campsite so you're not right on top of each other bathhouse right in the middle. Great access to hiking trails and fishing and water park in the summer
Great place. But there is bad thunderstorms there just almost every year. Jellyfish often come when it is windy, and I got stung by one twice. But good place to visit.
Very nice, camped in #9 across from bath house. Wide site not very deep worked out great with 2 large tents. Fire pitts are great for cooking or flip back for large fire.
Happened across this spot while driving down hwy 70. Saw the swimming sign at the street and thought it would be a cool place to stop and let the kids play. The beach was COVERED IN DEAD FISH. The water was full of dead fish. People sat on the beach like nothing was wrong. Nope'ed out of there immediately. Shame because it looks like it would've been a nice spot. Searched on the internet and found news stories from several years ago, but nothing recent. Very bizarre...And smelly.
