This was our first stay at a KOA, and it was fantastic! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The camp store was stocked full of anything and everything that you may need or had forgotten. Our site was spacious and clean. This was also our first trip using a bathhouse, and it seemed very nice and clean. Highly recommend!
Beautiful campground on the river- literally. Plenty of activities both local and on site. Joni at the camp store was fabulous and very accommodating. Huge selection of KOA branded merchandise as well as pretty much everything else you'd need for a stay. Can't wait to revisit. Thank you a great experience!!
We were only passing thru and liked it so well we stayed another nite. The ladies that ran this KOA is EXCELLENT in assisting with info of the area. This KOA is the BEST AREA to stay at. It has EXCELLENT FACILITIES, LEVEL SITES, WELL MAINTAINED GROUNDS. WE NOW EXPECT THAT ALL KOA' S HAS THIS STANDARD. .Stay here. You won't regret it. We will definitely use this KOA again.
We love this KOA. Staff is very friendly, park and facilities are clean. Our site it level and we love the accessibility to the historical areas. We can’t say enough about pat and her staff. Cathy, who always seems to be on our camp schedule is wonder asset to the park!
Nice campground, good people to deal with. I would have given 5 stars but when it rains, water stands in many places around the park. Needs a little grading and drainage troughs. Beautiful views of the river and close to New Bern.
