I went to Mr. Tire to have my front brake pads replaced because they had a promotion going for break pads and another shop told me that my car needed brskes. They were honest and upfront, took the time to show me that no brake work was needed and explained to me what maintenance was recommended. Other shops I've been to would have just done the work anyway, but Dan and Andi took the time to show me what I did need and be truthful about what I didn't. This is my shop from now on.

Horrible experience. Was there at open, 9am, by 1030am they seriously only changed two tires. This included the one I needed. I watched the mechanic continuously pull his phone from his pocket, play on it, and put it back in his pocket. Not to mention... overpriced. NEVER AGAIN.
I was looking at purchasing new tires for my truck, when I went into the store I was greeted by Andi she was very professional and very knowledgeable of what I was needing for my truck. Even though I wasn't going to purchase tires that day she took the time to talk to me about varies different types of tires. When I do have the time and money I will make sure I return to Mr. Tire and have the work done. She knows what she is talking about I recommend Mr. Tires over any other tire shop in New Bern.

Hands down the best auto service shop in New Bern! The employees excel in customer service as well as quick and efficient automobile services. They willingly work with customers on their price needs (don't be greedy), and work on getting you in and out with a breeze. Plus, they offer free feminine products in the restroom, which is rare for us ladies. :)
I live in Miami, FL and travelled to New Bern for a wedding. Saturday night my truck broke down, without knowing anyone to help I pushed the truck to a parking lot until the next morning. Sunday morning called to see if anyone would be able to help, and Dan was the most courteous, professional and honest customer service specialist I have know. He immediately stated that his mechanic would not be available to Monday. Dan allowed me to leave my vehicle in his care so I could travel back home for work. Dan and Andy met every commitment that they set forth, called to keep me updated on what the issue was. Bad news blown engine, over the next week I tried to coordinate how to fix this issue. Dan took the time to mail me my Tag so I could turn it in after I decided I would send the truck to the junk yard. When I asked what I owed him, he stated nothing it would be unethical for me to charge you when we noticed what was wrong as soon as we lifted the hood. Restored my faith in human decency. If I lived in New Bern this would be by far my first and only choice for car issues or general maintenance and keep up. Dan and his staff are amazing and upstanding individuals, that when you walk in the door you know that you are dealing with a standard above the rest. Thank you Dan and Andy for all your hard work and consideration of the logistics it took to get my car issues taken care of.
