I'm very impressed with how clean this laundromat is. I don't need to use the laundromat very much, as I have my own washer and dryer, but my dryer broke the other day. I also don't have a front-load washer and have some large comforters that needed washing. The washing machines are clean and don't have that funky "front-load washer" smell to them like they do at other laundromats. I live on the opposite side of New Bern from this place, but will definitely be using the facilities here in the future if I have need of them.
The place was ok and they're open earlier than any other laundromat I've been to... but unfortunately there was no one there (?) watching over the laundromat so I couldn't get my bills changed to get change and then the change machine wasn't working. Extremely frustrating. There was one other person there who made it clear that her quilt went missing and still has yet to get it back.

Walking into the laundromat, the first thing I notice is how this laundromat is very different from the rest I've been to in the Area. Formly a Wash House customer, I was used to sitting in a very bland area, waiting for my clothes to get washed, feeling as if I was in an all white prison. However, waiting for my clothes at Clean and Green Laundry made me feel as if I was in a luxurious building full of entertainment and greenery. Clean and Green Laundry really was clean and very, very green. Going in there made me realize that people should not have to go to a dirty place to wash their clothes clean. This will definitely be the laundromat I go to now on. Goodbye Wash House.
Disappointed. I used to come here because it was a clean, friendly atmosphere. I recently moved back to the area and....what happened? It's not dirty, just looks neglected. The girl working couldn't hear anyone speaking because of headphones stuck in her ears, she appeared to be working hard at wiping things, but the vending machines were empty, floors dirty. Same attendant left around 10 pm and apparently, the building closes automatically because several of us were finishing up around 11pm and all the lights just turned off. Automatic doesn't replace people...or cleanliness.
