Decided to try out BJJ for the first time and a great experience doing it! Our instructor took time to explain everything, give us pointers, and it was a great work out. Highly recommend to anyone who's looking for a good way to get some self defense/fighting experience, or just a great work out.
Knowledgeable instruction from Sergio and the other coaches at Sugoi Submissions. This is an academy that competes, trains for practical self defense, and helps students at all skill levels. The atmosphere is inviting, and everyone on the team is dedicated to helping each other learn and grow. This is a great group to be a part of!
Today was my first time visiting Sugoi Submission BJJ Academy. Im a stickler about detail. At my age there is very little time to improve my technique and remain competitive. Sergio Esqivel is the kind of martial artist that is never satisfied and inspires his students to constantly improve!!
