Deer hunting is good here, if your lucky you can get a decent buck, but as always watch for other hunters. The little lakes toward the middle are warm like a bath during the summer nights, but not uncomfortable. I never cast a line there however. Parking is plentiful, right along the highway, pick a trail and walk or drive in. Again during season watch for hunters. Also watch for rattlers, they are big and plentiful. Fun place!
Lots of hiking trails and so much more to do. Heavily wooded area, wide open spaces, clear paths, and even sand can be found on your adventure through.
Interesting eastern forest. Good place to see venus flytraps and pitcher plants.
