A beautiful preservation of an important Civil War Battle. If you can visit here - Bring mosquito spray and comfy shoes to walk on the wooded trails. Be sure to visit the preserved trenches. Take the time to read the informations boards. Bathrooms available.
This place is wonderful for people of all ages. Anyone who loves nature walks, and the outdoors will enjoy themselves here. There's shark's teeth, shells, coral, and various rocks to observe along the trails. Our family really enjoyed themselves, and will definitely be back for new adventures!! Great, relatively new and developing, historical park. Plenty to do, and a lot to learn. The walking tour is a must. There are plenty of things to read and learn how things occurred. It is a great time to take a casual walk and learn at the same time.
A nice park. Walking trails are excellent around the battlefield. This is a self guided tour, with boards explaining the who, what, where, when and why. Be sure to bring bug spray, mosquitos are plentiful. Ample parking and restrooms are available. Give yourself just about 1 hour (longer if you read everything)
Historic site. Very informative. Lots of opportunity to walk, but some of the paths lead nowhere, which can be confusing.
