To Kill a Mockingbird by a teen group. It is what you would expect. Theater is clean and nice. I've been in entertainment for 40 years and lived in Las Vegas for 32 years plying my trade. This production fell far short of anything I've previously sat through. Good luck to them in future productions.

The New Bern Civic Theatre is a amazing place to enjoy musicals and if you enjoy theatre you should definitely make time to see one of their shows. They always seem to have a great selection of shows each season. I have seen a number of shows over the past couple of years including Mary Poppins, Hello Dolly, Into the Woods, Rent, and more and the crew never fails to deliver outstanding performances. It is very easy to purchase tickets form the theatres website which allows you to pick the exact seat you want and with the convenience of printing the tickets form home. They have floor seating and a balcony. The theatre is older and the seats are a little uncomfortable but the quality of the performances more than makes up for these minor inconveniences. They also have meet and greets with the cast after each show and they are always a delight to talk to. It is very obvious how much they enjoy performing for us.

Cool venue to watch a play by the local theatre company. Liked everything about it only complaint is the lack of leg room many of the rows.
