DO NOT EVER RENT OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT. PATRICIA THE PROPERTY MANAGER IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. SHE DOES NOT KEEP CONFIDENTIALITY AND DOES NOT PROTECT CLIENTS OR POTENTIAL CLIENTS INFORMATION. THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED.
BEWARE! This is a dishonest company. They rented a house to me and my family where a brutal murder had taken place. 112 Sound Boulevard, Newport NC. A woman was stabbed 11 times and her throat was cut. I only found out about it after a neighbor informed me. My wife, children and grandchildren would not stay in the home after that. They would not let me out of the lease either. They expected us to continue to peacefully live there knowing this tragic event had took place there. This was very stressful to my family. They were unapologetic and their only concern was the remainder of the lease. They even charged a cleaning fee, go figure.
After being under-served by two local management companies, I brought Management Services on board. Total game changer. Total. They completely turned around a very difficult situation, communicating with residents regularly, performing needed maintenance, and impeccable record keeping. I can't say enough nice about Janie and Tina and their staff. 5 STARS!
We used them as our rental management company for several years. The last renters, William and Kelly Schreffler, left with $1300 in unpaid rent and unpaid pet deposits, along with over $1000 in repairs for damage caused by the Schrefflers. Real Estate plus, Inc d/b/a Management Services, was supposed to pursue legal action against them to recover the $2300 on our behalf, but they never did.
