The food was above average and worthy of an easy five stars. The service was the same. The view and ambiance was relaxing. Not at all pretentious. I was bedecked in shorts, boat shoes, and a fishing shirt and I didn't feel like I was under-dressed. Maybe I was and just didn't care. Who knows? I had a great time regardless. Or irregardless, if grammatical precision isn't high on your list.
Great place to eat when somebody else is covering the check. A bit rich, for my wallet.
Food was locally sourced and fantastic. Staff was great and we will return every time we are in New Bern.
The view and atmosphere is 5 stars. The menu is 1 star. I've visited about a dozen times (other friends for some reason like this place) and have tried a variety of items; not one single thing I would ever eat again. Last time I had a meeting there I literally brought my own sandwich. The menu really needs upgraded to match the ambiance of such a lovely place.
Went there for lunch. Very poor quality food and very expensive. View is great. I ordered a club sandwich which was just awful. Worst ever.
We sat outside a little above the waterway dock. Great view! Awesome crab cake sandwich, right down to the bun. And the sweet potato fries were excellent! We highly recommend this place!
