Friendly, professional, competent and courteous staff. Veterinarians and techs are really caring, great with animals and very knowledgeable. Staff listens to owners concerns and is great with making mutual decisions. Nice atmosphere and vibes. Prices reasonable.

Not at all happy. I should have kept my initial "estimate". It was to include an x-ray. When I returned - the bill was still $267 - with no x-ray. I was told to take her somewhere to have her ACL repaired. What do you think the first thing is they'll do? right - x-ray. Non-requested items in the bag (health chews for $67 included) made up the $267 bill - and a sedative so he could confirm the tear manually. Nothing of value! Won't be back.
Got in quickly for annual shots on a recently adopted cat. Tech did exactly what I needed. No unnecessary procedures, no padding of the bill, as I've seen at a different Craven County animal hospital. I will return. Thanks! Update: 9 year old cat developed impacted anal glands, one rupturing. Dr. Wheelis saw her right away, drained both glands, and we're looking good. I requested a very affordable senior exam, and he recommends weight loss to prevent diabetes. Love this guy. Preventive, wholistic health care, without going overboard.
