I went to this dealer as a last resort option for a vehicle because I was waiting to buy a car from a private owner. Had been two weeks waiting on this person and I was desperate to get transportation. I wasn't expecting to come away with a car but God is good!! I went there and did business with Nathan and I was so happy that he worked hard to get me into a vehicle the same day I went in there!!! He was professional and very nice. Once I pay off my car, I plan to go back and get another one, if life allows.. lol. I recommend this place to everyone, don't pay attention to the troll on here, if I did, I wouldn't have become a happy customer. Great job guys!! Keep it up!!
I don't normally waste my time writing reviews, but after reading the reviews for this place I felt I must. I see some good reviews. Don't believe them. They are probably fake reviews written by employees. This place will do you wrong. You may get lucky if you shop at one of their other locations and pay with cash, but if you shop at the New Bern store and use the in house financing, they will rip you off. I see where a couple people lost their down payments. I had the same thing happen to me six months ago. I put down a payment and financed in house. I had a 30 day dealer warranty. The transmission failed and it was going to cost more to fix than the car was worth. I returned the car and they would not refund my down payment. I filed a complaint with the DMV and know for a fact that they are under investigation for their shady practices. If you are desperate, buy from a private seller. This place will rip you off!!!
I do not recommend anyone try to purchase a vehicle from these people. the are crooks. They took a down payment and wouldn't return it when the loan failed to go through. Now I have to hire a lawyer to get my money back from these criminals. DONT RISK IT!!! Buy from a reputable dealership!!
Great Americans doing business at this car lot
This place took my down payment. Let me drive off the lot with the car thinking I had a loan. Then when I went to make my first months payment, the loan company had no knowledge of me. I called the dealership to find out what was going on. They asked me to come back in to do another loan. Then, ran my credit two more times and left hard inquires on my credit report after I asked them not too. They tried charging me $9898 for a 2006 model car with a blue book value of $4200. I gave them a $2200 down payment on the car. I felt like things were fishy, so I got someone else involved to assist with helping me understand my rights and assist with a cosign. She said that if she was going to do a co sign she wanted to go look elsewhere at a newer car. We went up to the Auto Store of New Bern and advised them this was not going to work. They said I could return the car and back out of the deal. So that is what I did. They refused to return the down payment of $2200 and are now threatening to place a repossession on my credit report. They know I am a single mother getting out of an abusive relationship and took complete advantage of me and my situation. Be careful using these people. They will try to take advantage of you if they find the opportunity.
